Rincker Simmental and Fox Creek Cattle are dedicated to the success of our young cattlemen and cattlewomen. We believe the showring success is only the beginning of the contributions that you will give back to the beef industry. The 2006 Illini Elite Sale marked the beginning of our Scholarship Program for those 4-H and FFA members who are looking ahead to a college education at a community college or university.

At the Fall 2010 Illini Elite Sale we will be providing a $100 Savings Bond to any youth that has a heifer or steer breed Champion at a County Fair or Sectional FFA Show from an Illini Elite purchased project. To qualify the show must have 10 or more entries in that breed show.

We will be providing a $200 Savings Bond to any youth winning 3 or more county fairs or sectional FFA shows with an Illini Elite purchased steer or heifer again competing with a minimum of 10 head.

We will be providing a $500 Savings Bond to any youth winning a State Fair junior or open show, State Expo or show, or any one of the Simmental Regional Shows.

And we will provide a $1000 Savings Bond to any youth winning a national breed show or the National Simmental Junior Heifer Show.

The requirements of the purchaser to participate in the Scholarship Program and to receive a Savings Bond include:

1. Heifer or Steer must have been purchased in the Illini Elite Sale.

2. Exhibitor must notify Curt or Pam Rincker(Rincker Simmental) or Stan or Jennifer Tarr(Fox Creek Cattle) by phone or by email the results of the show season by September 1st, 2011. The phone numbers are 217-774-5741 (Rincker Simmental) and 309-962-9609 (Fox Creek Cattle) or the emails are crincker@lakeland.cc.il.us and jtarr@fccattle.com depending on the seller.

3. Exhibitor must provide a picture or digital picture of the winning heifer or steer taken at the show. Pictures should be mailed to Curt and Pam Rincker, RR1 Box 195, Shelbyville, IL 62565 or Stan and Jennifer Tarr, 3511 N. 2200 E. Rd., LeRoy, IL 61752 and in the case of digital pictures emailed to either crincker@lakeland.cc.il.us or jtarr@fccattle.com depending on the seller.

4. Exhibitor must be present at the 2011 sale to receive the Savings Bond.
